Enable Debug logs for PC
This article will show you how to turn on verbose logging to provide additional information while troubleshooting

Only turn on Debug logging when asked by Support.
Password Boss debug logs can become extremely large as they accumulate a vast amount of data points related to the Password Boss processes.
To enable debug logs, please follow these steps:
- Save the following file to your computer. Enable-Debug-Logging.txt
- Change the file extension of the file from .txt to .reg
- Double-click the file named Enable-Debug-Logging.reg
- You will receive prompts from Windows asking if you want to continue to make the change. Be sure to allow the change to be made.
- You need to restart Password Boss for the logging changes to be effective. If Password Boss is open, choose Exit from the File menu or reboot your computer.
- Open Password Boss, log back into your account, and try to reproduce the issue you are having.
To send the debug logs to support open Password Boss:
- Right-click on the Password Boss owl next to the clock (called the System Tray).
- Select System Info.
- Click Send logs to support.
- Fill out the form and describe the issue you are experiencing in as much detail as possible, including steps to reproduce the problem, and click Send.
To disable debug logging
- Save the following file to your computer. Disable-Debug-Logging.txt
- Change the file extension of the file from .txt to .reg
- Double-click the file named Disable-Debug-Logging.reg
- You will receive prompts from Windows asking if you want to continue to make the change. Be sure to allow the change to be made.
- You need to restart Password Boss for the logging changes to be effective. If Password Boss is open, choose Exit from the File menu or reboot your computer.
