Changing the email address on your Password Boss account involves creating a new Password Boss account with the new email address and then importing your existing data from your Password Boss account into the new account.
The export process needs to be done using the Windows version of Password Boss.
Moving your saved items to your new account
- Backup your saved items to a file on your computer before changing your email address to ensure nothing is lost.

Moving your paid subscription to your new account
If you currently have a paid subscription to your old Password Boss account, you must contact our customer support team to move your license to your new account. They will need an email from the old email address associated with your account to authorize and update this information. Use the Contact Us on this page to reach out for further instructions to make this happen quickly.
Tip: If you have any shared items or Emergency Access contacts set up on your original account, you must recreate those again on your new account. These items do not transfer through this process.
